How to update firmware

ZEPCAM T1, T1-XT & T1 LIVE

ONLINE

 

  1. Make sure you’re logged in as Administrator.
  2. Make sure that the Zepcam T1 is connected via WiFi, 3G of 4G/LTE.
  3. Go to SETTINGS -> ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS.
  4. Select FIRMWARE SETTINGS -> UPDATE FIRMWARE.
  5. The Zepcam T1 will reboot automatically.
  6. Check if the frimware is updated; Go to SETTINGS -> ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS -> FIRMWARE SETTINGS and check the displayed firmware version

 

OFFLINE

 

  1. Go to www.update.zepcam.com to download the latest firmware and change the filename to ‘firmware.enc’.
  2. Make sure you’re logged in as Administrator.
  3. Make sure that the T1 is NOT connected via WiFi, 3G of 4G/LTE.
  4. Make sure that the Zepcam T1 is connected to the PC via USB (SETTINGS -> ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS ->ATTACH TO PC). The Zepcam T1 will be displayed as external device/drive.
  5. Remove the old/current firmware file when available on the T1 external device/drive.
  6. Drag the new ‘firmware.enc’ file from PC to root folder of Zepcam T1.
  7. Close or disconnect Zepcam USB connection.
  8. Go to SETTINGS -> ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS -> FIRMWARE SETTINGS -> UPDATE FIRMWARE.
  9. The Zepcam T1 will reboot automatically.
  10. Check if the frimware is updated; Go to SETTINGS -> ADMINISTRATOR SETTINGS -> FIRMWARE SETTINGS and check the displayed firmware version

 

ZEPCAM MOBILE VIDEO BOX M2-MVB 10, 20 & 30

  1. Go to www.update.zepcam.com and download the latest Mobile Video Box firmware version.
  2. Login on the Mobile Video Box via the MVB WiFi network or via the ETH Service port.
  3. Open your browser and connect to 10.150.160.1 (WiFi) or 10.150.161.1 (ETH Service) (default IP's).
  4. Login with your username and password.
  5. Go to the menu "System" and select "Backup / Flash".
  6. At "Flash new firmware image" select "Choose files" and search for the firmware file you downloaded from update.zepcam.com.
  7. "Upload Firmware" and perform the upgrade.
  8. The Mobile video box will reboot and will be up after several minutes.
  9. Check if the firmware is updated.
